Spiritual Mind Treatment

The Spiritual Mind Treatment is a daily or weekly or monthly way of contacting the Universal Mind and speaking into it what you desire and have need of. It is more than prayer because it enlists an absolutely positive energy to focus attention on your desires and concerns and helps the Universal Mind manifest these things in a positive, pro-active way. It is a document you should print out and utilize everyday, in tandem, with a daily journal. In the daily journal you should write down exactly what it is you need or desire and leave room for the "outcome:" did the things you ask for manifest or not? If not, ask yourself these questions: Did you put the emotion of love behind your request? Did you really want what you were asking for, or was their some unconscious desire for something other than what you treated for? Did you truly believe that you would get what you asked for? Do you truly believe that you and God are One and that God cannot and will not ever give you other than what is for your best good and the best of all possible outcomes? If you have a negative answer to any of these questions, then try treating for the thing again in belief.
Now the Angels tell me that everything we desire cannot be manifested "order on demand" or that is, as quickly as we think it should get to us. Everything which is good comes at the best time for its manifestation.
I am also told that there needs to be significant positive energy behind the treatment, love, forgiveness, deep abiding faith, hope, any of these can speed a treatment to fruition. The Science of Mind church calls this the "Technique and the Fire." The Spiritual Mind Treatment itself is the "technique." It can be easily changed to suit your needs. The "Fire" is your passion and honest desire for the thing to be fulfilled, the treatment to take effect, the manifestation to occur. You need both technique and Fire, if you expect the daily treatment to work. But even just using the words will prove to be effective on some levels.
Thirdly, two opposing desires might cancel out the manifestation of the treatment. If you want a good marriage and say it everday, but in your heart you really are only saying it because you "think" you should or you feel guilty, and what you really want is your freedom from a marriage, you will either simply get nothing from the treatment, or you will get the greater of the desires manifested in direct opposition to your voiced or written request. So be careful what you ask for, you WILL get it! Even if you ask only in the silence of the heart. That is why it is important to bring everything out from your secret places into the full light of consciousness.
This Spiritual Mind Treatment was first taken from Ernest Holmes' Science of Mind Textbook and re-edited by my wife, Rosanne and I to update it and make it more positive in focus and intent and more modern. It is perfectly acceptable to take this or any other treatment and make it "your own." For it is written for your benefit!
